Mark Steven Price – Age 53, a longtime resident of Lake, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Mark was born in Sterling Heights, MI on September 4, 1968, to parents Andrew Joseph and Joyce Marie (Gates) Price. Mark grew up in the Sterling Heights area, after high school he moved to Georgia for a time, and when he returned to Michigan, he moved to his cabin in Lake, where he remained. Mark worked as a builder in construction, but he could build and repair just about anything. He enjoyed snowboarding, dirt biking, and loved anything with a motor. If “going fast” could be a hobby, it was his. Mark was a good Christian man, and would help anyone in need, giving the shirt off his back if necessary. Most of all, Mark loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his sons, Andrew Price (Jenna McKinley) of Farwell, Joseph Price of Farwell, grandchildren Jayce and Dutton, and brother Mike Price (Kathryn) of Social Circle, GA.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Christina Keith, his parents, Andrew and Joyce Price, and his father-in-law, William Keith.
A Celebration of Life service is being held on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 3-5 PM at the Clare VFW Post #5738, 145 Wilcox Pkwy, Clare, MI 48617.
