Keith Lee Wale, age 59 of Farwell passed away unexpectedly from chronic health conditions on October 4,2021. He was born on June 20,1962 in Alpena MI to Kenneth and Sharon (Bergy) Wale. Keith married Shari (Louwers) Wale on October 3, 1992, at Saint Cecilia church in Clare, Mi. Keith loved the community like he loved his family. He was so passionate about helping people he dedicated his life to it. He became a firefighter for Surrey township in Farwell in 1986 and was with them until his retirement in 2014. He was also an EMT at United Rescue in Harrison from 1999 to 2013. In his spare time, you could find him at his second home with the Farwell Labor Day Committee he loved putting on events for the community as a racing enthusiast himself. Keith was such a family-oriented man that if he was not working or volunteering you would find him with his family or friends. Aside from his family, his other happy place was salmon fishing with his buddies. Keith is survived by his wife Shari Wale of Farwell, his daughter Ashlee Wale and her wife Caitlin (Veasey) Wale, of Saint Johns, his mother Sharon Wale of Clare, brother Kevin Wale Sr. And wife Jennifer (Lapratt) of Coleman. His nieces and nephews, along with his great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Wale Sr, his siblings Kenneth Wale Jr, and twin sister Karen Wale and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life service is being held at the Farwell Fairgrounds on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 1:00 PM. Keith will be laid to rest at the Hillman-Rust Cemetery in Hillman, MI.
