Jerry Billman-passed away on October 21, 2022, at his home in Farwell, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on April 24, 1940, to parents Jack and Norma Billman of Allegan, Michigan. Following graduation from High School he proudly served with the United States Air Force from August 1959 until August 1963. Jerry enjoyed a full and vibrant life right up until the end, and looked forward to spending time with family, going on “ride abouts,” and farming. For many years Jerry was an active member of the Michigan Harness Horseman’s Association and he owned, drove, and trained standardbred horses. Jerry was well known and loved for his charismatic smile, belly laugh, and incredible homemade goulash. Jerry is survived by his four children; Paul, Thom, Ken, and Nena, nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, brothers; Robert, Richard, James, Dennis, sister Patricia and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Hilda in 1995, and sister Barb in 2021. A service for Jerry is planned for Thursday, October 27th, 2022, at the Campbell Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Farwell at 1PM. Amber Billman will officiate with burial in Gilmore Township Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial considerations asked to H.A.T.S.
