Donald Robert Jones, Sr. age 83 of Lake, Passed away on Friday, December 17th, 2021, at his home. Don was born on November 10, 1938, in Evart, Michigan, the son of Ernest Clifford and Beulah D. (Horn) Jones. Donald worked in construction and retired for the Garfield Transfer Station after many years of service. Donald later enjoyed tinkering with and re-purposing lawnmowers, going to auctions and having yard sales. He looked forward every year to his Annual 4th of July Celebration where his exceptionally large family enjoyed connecting. He also loved when his grandchildren came to his home for deer hunting season. Donald will be greatly missed by his sons; Donald Robert Jones, Jr. and wife Jane of Elsie, John Anthony Jones and wife Kellie of Lansing, his daughters; Laura Lynn Faust and husband Carl of Albion, Sandra Lea Brasington and husband Mike of Farwell, Tina Marie Jones of St. Louis, sixteen grandchildren, forty -three great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and six more expected, and sister Grace Beck and husband Don of Laingsburg. Don was preceded in death by his parent, brothers; Paul, Carl, Richard, Neal, and Alfred, and sisters; Margaret, Ilene, Grace, Joyce, and Eleanor. A Visitation is planned for Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 11AM until 1PM at the Campbell Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell.
