Dennis John Pranger- age 78 of Farwell passed away at his home on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Dan was born on July 28th, 1943, in Detroit to parents Chester John and Stella (Jurkiewicz) Pranger. On October 5, 1963, Dan was married to Camille Mary Korth at the Blessed John Duns Scotus Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southfield. He was employed by Ford Motor Company and raised two children with Camille. Dan and Camille moved to Surrey Lake in Farwell in 2003, and they began enjoying retired life. He was a wood carver and like whittling fish. He and Camille loved camping in their motorhome, lake life, and spending precious time with all of their “grands”. He and Camille wintered in Florida and made many friends there. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Camille, his children; Daniel Scott Pranger and wife Deborah, Mary Patricia “Trish” Tomayko and husband Michael, grandchildren; Brendan, Lily, Will, and Liv, and sister Lottie (Pat) Sobczak. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service is planned at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Clare, on Friday, December 10th at 11AM. Msgr. Francis Koper will perform vigil rites.
