Deborah Ann Lewis – Age 65 of Lake, passed away in Midland on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Debbie was born to parents Edward and Sadie (Harubin) Kroll in Trenton, MI on August 9, 1957. After high school she became an oral surgical assistant. She fell in love with and was united in marriage to David Lewis at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Southgate, MI on June 22, 1979. Together, they raised two sons, Michael and Eric. Debbie was a selfless, giving person. Always a jokester, to the very end. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, knitting and quilting, arts and crafts, cooking, canning and gardening.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, David Lewis, her sons, Michael David (Melissa) Lewis, and Eric Allan Lewis, brother Andy (Tracy) Kroll, and sisters Barbara (Dan) Swain, Judy (Jeremy) Scaggs, and nieces and nephews; Jessica, Andrew, Alisha, Drew and Alex.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sadie.
A funeral service will be held at Campbell Funeral Home in Farwell on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Andy Kroll will officiate. According to Debbie’s wishes, a cremation will take place after the service. Memorial considerations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
